What is the purpose of the ‘i’ button in the CU Medical Systems iPAD SP1 Defibrillator?

The ‘i’ button on the iPAD Sp1 defibrillator allows users to select if additional CPR feedback is required in an emergency, otherwise, it will proceed to the metronome.  it also detects errors and provides vital information to the ambulance crew, enabling a smooth transition from essential life support to advanced life support.

The ‘i’ button allows the iPAD SP1 to be set with CPR protocols, such as compressions rate, number of compressions, breaths and cycles, to ensure that the SP1 is constantly up to date. The user can download data for analysis.
