As expected, the COVID-19 pandemic has been a major contributor to such delays in the defibrillator industry. Unfortunatley, this has affected the availability of AED products and associated parts globally. While most manufacturers have now scaled up production and are working hard to clear their back log. Some manufacturers are still experiencing issues with obtaining core materials to produce the items required.
