Can untrained staff use it?
Yes. Fully automatic defibrillator models talk the rescuer through every step and only shock when needed. Training builds confidence but isn't required.
Can the sports club get defibrillator funding?
Yes, Football Foundation, county FAs and community grant schemes all fund defibs. Our funding guide lists what’s open now.
Who looks after the defibrillator?
The cabinet does most of it. We track your pad and battery dates and email you 60 days before anything expires.
Fundraising still short?
Rent a defibrillator from £1/day
£150 refundable deposit, paid per term. Free pad and battery replacements, nothing for the committee to track.
