Designed by Geofire, the Agrippa Deaf Alert is a digital, vibrating pillow alarm that alerts the deaf, hard of hearing, children, and heavy sleepers to a fire emergency using high intensity LED lights and a vibrating pillow pad.
Bundled with an UltraFire UBS1 Optical Smoke Alarm, the Deaf Alert listens out for the sound of an alarm and activates upon hearing it. Easy to install, the Deaf Alert is mains powered with a battery backup to ensure the device continues to function in the event of a mains power failure. The LCD display also features a time and alarm clock function which, upon hearing the smoke alarm, will display the word "FIRE", and trigger the LED lights and vibrating pad.
